Books Make the Best Gifts

2011
10.08

It’s that time of year again. I need a gift for a child….a very dear and special child to me. Where do I start? There isn’t much left to the imagination anymore when you buy a toy. Everything moves, talks, plays music, runs on batteries or plugs in. Whatever happened to toys that just spur the imagination into action? Do kids today have the opportunity to develop their imaginations? It would appear that even imagination is already done for them. What would be the perfect gift for this child?

Maybe I should check out good books for kids and see what is available there! I can already picture a book that stirs the imagination into action as this child puts himself in the place of the main character. What kind of adventures will he have? What will he learn? Where will he go? Books are a great way to put the imagination into action and teach great lessons of life at the same time. That’s it! I’ll go for books this year!

Writing Science Fiction

2011
09.28

Science fiction consists of imaginative and futuristic stories. These stories can take place as technology and science evolves and intersect. The impacts of the two are important parts of the story. To write a science fiction novel or article will take a great deal of imagination, hard work along with the ability to develop a message that transcends the ages. To start a novel or an article, the writer will have to start with a great idea. A new creative idea that has a new spin on an old one will provide a good basis to start the story and build upon it. The solid foundation of a science fiction story provide the writer with the information needed to ensure the story captures its audiences attention. Many times science fiction stories that have been written in the past, have had amazing likenesses to the technology that people use in homes today.

Effects of Good Content

The cheap article writing that we have commissioned from our cheap article writers has been delivered, and it has now been posted. The outcomes are good!

What has amazed me here is the spike in this traffic right from the day that our packages went up. I am 99% certain that this is because Google has rolled out Caffeine, which gets everything indexed right away and so the traffic jump up near-instantly in some of the datacenters, even they don’t propagate universally right away (based on some tests we have done, this propagation still takes some time, but it happens faster than it used to).

Creating a World

2011
05.11

When you develop characters, they have to be three dimensional. Meaning, the characters have to have depth. That is part of creative writing. If you make your characters boring then you will have to risk the chances that your readers will get bored with the story.

Readers want conflict in order to stay interested. Not just with one character and another, but other characters and the environment as well. It is important that you develop a strong where all the people interact with one another that is believable.

Now, believable does not mean that the information you share has to appear in the “real world.” No. That is not how it works. The information has to be believable and make sense in your world. The world that you are creating is what counts and matters. Anything can seem real when you are able to design a story that is mind blowing.

Entry Requirements for Screenplay Contests

2011
02.21

The entries to the screenplay contests should be original and written in English. As to the number of pages, this limit varies in different screenplay contests. Some require a short screenplay of maybe twenty pages, while others might require a more elaborate script. Along with the entries one needs to submit the signed Participation Agreement, a summary of the script and also pay the entry fee. A single contestant can submit multiple scripts, but each of these need to be accompanied by a separate entry form, Participation Agreement and the entry fee. The entry form should not be having any personal information. The pages of the script need to be numbered and no other identification is permitted. The copy should be spiral bound in case of hardcopy submissions. For electronic submissions the script should either be in PDF, Microsoft Word, Rich Text Format or Movie Magic Screenwriter formats. Usually the font size is standardized to 12 point and is either Courier or Ariel font.
